I've seen a few recipes for cannellini beans in the air fryer but haven't tried them yet. Any idea what went wrong? I've decided to read The World According to Garp again too. I read it so long ago, I have very little memory of it.

I am wondering what pulling out a purple thread from a temperature blanket means?? Love that butterfly illustration. And what a woman she must have been.

I've put the Missing Family on my list. Thanks for the recommendation. Thanks for the Philly update, I'll be interesting to see the new look. I loved The Brokenwood Mysteries, so must follow these new ones up. You pav looks amazing. It's very popular here, but this week I was given blackberries and decided to make an Eden Mess. That didn't last long either.

We all have things that don't work in the kitchen....I do love a good potato salad. Like Leanne I had no idea what 'spicy monster romances' were...and now I know!

Hi Jo - I'm learning things all over the place today - first it was "zarf" from Deb, and now 'spicy monster romances' from you - I just googled what on earth that was and why it's so popular. I'm a big fan of urban fantasy, but this looks even weirder and I'm not sure "East Coast Carnal Cryptids" etc would be my kind of read..... The titles alone had me shaking my head.

Hi, Jo - It continues to take my breatth away at how much work today's authors need to do AFTER their books are written. If I ever wrote a book (spoiler alert: that won't happen), I would want a huge parade in my honour just for finishing it. :D Kudos to you for all that you do for your readers!
